"A Family Diary" is a series of workshops aiming at integrating children, school youth, adults and seniors. Their goal is to create experimental objects made in various techniques and forms that develop creativity by combining both artistic and literary activities. Depending on the participants' ideas, books can be individual or collective works, which - like in the library - will form part of a larger project. The end result - a collection of unique books - will not only be an artistic interpretation of everyday life, but also a reflection on what unites us and what divides us, intertwining in the universal story of human life.

After the workshop, a catalog will be published, in which we will summarize the idea of the project, its main goals and the process of creating the books. The catalog will be bilingual (Polish-English) and will be published in a printed and electronic version for free download from the Art Gallery website. The opening of the exhibition of the artist’s book "A Family Diary" will take place on November 30, 2019 at 16.00. The exhibition will last until December 10, 2019.

"A Family Diary" are not only workshops for creating an artist’s book, but above all, an opportunity to integrate. Our main goal is to connect people through artistic activities and encourage them to interpret contemporary art. By introducing new forms of activity to our Gallery, we want to show that stories creates art, and the Gallery - people who visit it.
